Hello,
I have been reading posts here for months if not years so thank you for all of your useful information. I am now upgrading my tank from a 72 Bowfront to a combined display of apprx 400 Gal and a massive sump (maybe 100 Gal) I have planned much of this out already, but do not claim to know everything… So I am going to have the sump divided for the skimmer area, refugium, coral propagation, and heating sections. The tank will also feature a surge bucket type device to give more current, the return into the tank from the sump will rotate. I hope to not have dead spots (don’t we all). I have been planning a DIY Skimmer based on the Bubble King Skimmers I had it all figured out, then the place that was going to CNC cut the acrylic went out of business. Now I am looking at possibly buying one. I would prefer to not spend too much and have excellent efficiency plus easy to keep up. I will also need a Calcium reactor.
If you have something you are looking to sell let me know (Yes this part should be posted in the classifieds section sorry) Any ideas, thoughts remarks are appreciated and welcome.
