new turbo berlin protein skimmer

just got a new protein skimmer for a early xmas gift!!!!! It is a hang on the back style. I put it all together looks really nice. I then got ready to put it on the back, and well, I need another 1/2 inch to get it to fit!!!!!!!!!!!! Tank is to close to the wall!!!
A few bad words later I now have it sitting back in the box. Man this sucks!!!!!!!!!!

that does suck, but don't worry i did that b4 so your not the only one. are you going to move tank out to get it to fit? good luck let me know how its goes.

yes I think I am going to. Lot of money just to sit in the box under the tank.
Guess we will be letting out a lot of water and then a lot of pulling and tugging
