Tank looks great! Love the clowns, very nice. Now heres the but. Your dragnet will not live in that size tank,(feel like the dragnet police
) no fuge and very little rockwork. Those pods you got will only last him a day or 2, sorry, but you need to know, i would give him back to LFS.

Nemo, this is the best one I can get of him, he hides a lot. You can see the back of him here. My camera is a sony cybershot 6mp and it either sucks or I don't know how to use it.

I see so many super clear pictures here on the board, wish I knew which camera they used. :notsure:

That was entirely too funny...

Wow, that is unnecessarily harsh. First of all he wasn't killing them, it was left over ammonia from the death of his eel, which was caused by a protein skimmer. This can happen to even the most experienced person so there is no need to belittle a younger member of the board.

I like the clowns! I bet you already have heard this or already know this but you probably should watch the domino damsels behavior because they can get large and aggressive.

thanks Jason. i believe that is called a dragonette. a spotted one. very beautiful fish. i had a green dragonette in my 120 gallon reef, he was shy for about 2 months and then started to make apperences. :happyfish , then, one morning i wake up to a half empty tank.
sold everything and got a new start, just is alot smaller.

Oooh, burn, jason. While your post was harsh (albeit amusing), his was rude and abrupt. So that's that.
Very cute clowns! I was considering a domino damsel for awhile...you might rethink him in the future. They're pesky. :)
And although it's already been mentioned, the dragonet isn't going to be very happy in there. Sorry. Same thing happened to me when I first started out. I suppose you could keep him, but it'd cost you an arm and a leg in pods to keep him fed. Try giving him some different frozens foods; if you're crazy lucky, he'll take to that.

good start :) Has that skimmer skimmed anything for you? I had that same one that I could never get adjusted to the point of it skimming

hmm royal gang and royalnazgul, seems the same to me, either way that person is a moron.
Nah hasn't skimmed anything yet, maybe because it is new and the tank is not very old either.
Yea the dragonet seems to be doing ok for now, if it takes buying copepods a lot then I will, money is no worry on feeding him.
Thanks for the comments guys and girls!

Hmmm. at this point I really dont know what to say. obviously this is the tank that just crashed recently. and being the old thread is only a few weeks old..... that means the tank is about a month or so old, expirienced one crash during that time, and already has a condylactilus in it. Now maybe you'll get lucky and everything will be fine but I highly doubt it. As for asking anyone for help in the future most people arent going to want to help you, now. Already you just take the advice and throw it out the window. This makes me sad that by the way your acting your going to ram into the brick wall over and over. And I for one am never going to offer any input or advice to you because you dont listen to anyone.
good luck

It wont last. I'll give the domino 6 months to a year to turn the tables. Nice tank all the same.

dude, that was months ago, ur tank tank was brand new two weeks ago, unless u have super cycle then those clowns wont live very long. and so what if i am 13? ive seen adults that knwo less on keeping sw tanks then i do and yet have been keeping them longer, plz do not dicriminate against becuz of my age, i was trying to point out somrthing, a cycle of 6 wks or more is needed b4 u add fish such as that, i would wait even longer if i wer u. and when i posted it was 4pm here in NH

No worries there sharky,
The tank is less than probably two weeks old and fully cycled. Water params are perfect, algae spots on the glass already, etc. Yes I told you I had a way to "super cycle" it as you called it. I tried posting my way to help others, but low and behold nobody wants to hear that it goes against the grain and strokes their fur backwards.
All fish are doing great, turned the light out last night and everything did fine.
For everyone that takes offense to what I say, oh well. I am not trying to be a thorn in anyone's side, but you are gonna have to realize that some of these things you guys post in these forums are utterly rediculous. There is being on the safe side and then there is nonsense.
On the other hand, the fish and inverts I received from SWF.com were of super quality. Now my UV Sterilizer I received was broken when it came in, glass sloshing around inside. So I will be sending that back if they ever respond to my email. Anyone have a number to them?
