New VS Old Tank

Here is my old 55 gal. tank with a CC bed and lots of bad algea

And here is the new 75 gal. with a DSB and no bad algea so far lol

Yeah I saw the **** rock at the LFS and just had to have it.
It is a great conversation peice lol

Do you know what you did differently in the second tank to avoid the algae problem??

just set it up a week ago so none has grown yet

ahahahaha! Seriously though, the tank looks much better. It's pretty hard to erect a nice tank.

yea there is a little hair algea at the base lol. My rock anomone just decided to make the base of that rock his home. I guess he wanted to make my conversation peice a little more interesting lol
