New Wet/Dry Help

I've just installed an Amiracle Wet/Dry. I'm using 2 overflows and an 1800 gph pump. Everything is operating perfectly. However, my water level in my tank seems to high for me to feel comfortable. How can I lower it 1/4 inch or so?

I'M FLOODING!
Since my tank is in my wall, it is difficult to see until it hits the carpet. I'm shut down but all of my other filters are running so I'm o.k.
Is it possible that the pump can be too strong? It is rated for 1800 gph according to the seller. The overflow boxes were quite full.
If so, how can I reduce the water flow from the pump?

I've found and sealed the leak. It was coming from the seal between the overflow and pvc pipe.
Everything is running fine but I'm still uncomfortable with the water level. Is the pump to strong? If so, can I reduce it at all?

well.. what u need is to install a pvc ball valve somewhere in your return line afther the pump.. that way.. u can control the amount of water that return to your main display tank...(open valve = more and higher water lvl in display tank.. semi-close valve = less and lower water lvl in display tank but higher water in sump....
