Yes, I think he's inviting himself. You two can get drunk and clean toilets, then snack on some fake fruit while watering the fake flowers. Then tomorrow morning, you can shampoo your wife's carpet, one can scrub while the other puts down some fragrance....

My plans got smooshed
. I work retail and the fact that I even have new years eve and day off is an amazing feat, but my plans got smooshed. Not going into it as the blood pressure has been raised too many times already today. However, I will get some guiness and classify myself as an "alchy" for a night as I drink alone because I CAN.

Oh there will be people here (the plan smooshers)...Just, I will be the only one drinking...as I eye them suspiciously with a chip on my shoulder. I can entertain myself quite easily. Very self sufficient

Well, as normal...the party this year is here at T316's house. Every year it seems to get bigger and bigger...
I just looked over my wife's list and it's looking like potentially 40-50 people. Did I mention...

At least I know where I'm staying Sep...

Well if I hurt their feelings I can follow up with a "turn to the bottle" suggestion to ease the pain.
Just jokes I would have much prefered to go out tomorrow night, but I will be fine. Perhaps it is a higher power suggesting I stay home for the night...watch the signs. I would never enter an evening with the intention of confrontation, just not my style.

Kidding, kidding. I am going to my friend's where we will all get together and have lots of fun.

we're keepin' it nice and small this year. usually we have a massive outrageous party... but this year we're keeping it supersmall; one other couple and a whole lotta junkfood. it'll be a real nice, real quiet, chilled-out evening.
this weekend though... that's a different story.....

why should it be any different than any other night ? make dinner -fish site-clean up-fish site- go to bed-get up 4 times and check fish site
