new yellow tang! need help

i recently got a yellow tang in my aqurium and i've had him for about 3 days and hes been picking at some alage and he eats some brine shrimp but he hasnt been eating like the flakes i put in for the other fish? i have an alge clip and he like gaurds it but doenst seem to eat it?

He may still be adjusting to your tank. Give him a few days, and he will likely settle in. If he is grazing on the rocks and eating brine, then that is a good sign. You could always try soaking the food in garlic to help entice him to eat.
