ok so i got a new watchmen today and i let it accumliate for 1 1/2 hrs. it was gray so i didn't want to keep stressing it out. i put him in and he sat on the bottom for a while. he is now sitting out in the front just sitting there. not hiding or anything. i also got a small piece of green grass coral (brain fart) and him. just starting with corals and all could that be why he is stressed? what should i do?
24g
1 falsie
1 yellow tail damsel
snails and crabs
ph is 7.8 so i got some ph buffer and some reef dip if this helps

if i were you i would get some dark paper and tape it to the front/ side where you want him to make its burrow, this way he will feel safer and most likely go over on that side, leave the paper up for a few days at least and then slowly start taking chunks off till its all gone.. (do this after hes made a burrow) other than that maybe keep the lights on low or off for awhile. Let him adjust, give him time..

no problem!
I used to have one in my 72 gallon and at first it went and made a cave behind the rocks.. but i kinda moved some things where he decided he didnt want to live there anymore and i already put the black paper on the front/side and he ended up going there =)
cant wait to see pics!
