New Zoas - Palys

they are not protopalythoa. since they have green mouths, they are the people eater type of zoas. they belong to zoanthus gigantus

heres a comparison of some zoas and palys. the only protopaly here is the top right. the others are all zoanthids despite the size.

I always thought that zoas grew on a connected mat and palys grew individual polyps. - Not sure about protopalys though
Oh well, it doest really matter either is fine, I like them and was just wondering. The pics of the second dont do them justice- they are a rainbow of color.

thanks, people eater zoas (green mouth with watermelon mats) color up really well overtime. awesome zoas! theres palythoa like button polyps that grow in singles buds. but protopalys grow mats like zoas

palys grow individually, common colors are red and green ones.
not sure about the second set of zoos u got their teresa. You can look at zoaid.com?!?!?!

not really concerned with naming them, though the first are like my red people eaters only smaller polyp. the second is a much bigger polyp and more rainbow colored.
I really just wondered if Zoa or paly .
They were the 5 polyp assorted frags from here. 9.99 each.
