Newbie here with a question

1st I just want to say that this site has alot of info, now on to the question
I believe I have an outbreak of ich on my 55gal FOWLR.....would hyposalinity kill my live rock? and if not, do I do it gradually? Thanks for the help

Many people take there rock out when they do hyposalinity. I have never done it. You might want to check out the disease forum. Or do a search on hypo

Do it from a different tank not to your main tank.

thanks for all the replies....I have 4 fishes on my 55gal and I only have a 12gal tank for a QT. (Porcupn Puffer, damsel, trigger, and yllw tang)

Move fish to secondary tank for hypo and leave the DT free from fish for 3 weeks.
