I just purchased a Current Dual Satellite System that has Dual Daylight lamps, Dual Actinic lamps and also "built-in" Lunar light. I am lost since there were not really any instructions on how to run.....
Does anyone have this unit? How to I run the Lunar Light? How should I set up the system on timers?
Thanks for any help.........

I should also add that there are four plugs- two thick wired numbers which appear to belong to the daylight and actinic bulbs, and two thin wires with the 'box' at the end. One of these goes to the fan. I am not sure what the fourth is for being I only have found 2 switches on the unit controlling the daylight and actinic bulbs.:notsure:

The other wire is probably for your lunar light LEDs. They can stay on all the time which is ok since they last a LONG time. Or you can do a timer to have them on only when your others are off, it's up to you.
As far as timing goes... run your actinics for 12 hours and your daytimes for 10. Set your timers so your actinics come on at 9am, your daylights at 10am. Then your daylights should turn off at 8pm and your actinics turn off at 9pm. You can adjust these times to fit your schedule, the corals don't care what time it really is. If you are a night owl that sleeps late you can have them lit up from noon to midnight. :D

Thanks- so it sounds like if the lunars are pluged they are on- no switch for them which could help solve part of this mystery. I didn't notice any light today with the other bulbs off but maybe that was because it was daytime........
Hmmmmm...........

I have the same lighting. 36inch Dual. There are 4 plugs. 1 for 10K(daylight), 1 for actinic both of these i have on timers. 1 box is for the lunar light and the other box is for the cooling fan. My lunar light stays on all the time. Since its a LED it will last a loooong time. You can also put the fan plug on a timer to come on with ur lights. I just plug the fan in before i go to work in the morning. When the lights go out i unplug. Not a big deal. Ive heard lots of good things about the light and its powerful enough to keep a nice amount of coral. Good luck.:)
