My tank seems to be doing well. Salinity, pH, nitrite, alkalinity are all okay. Tank started 10/8/03.
I am starting a reef tank, and began Reef Pure's calcium supplement today.
First concern: I bought a 30-90gallon starter kit. The Sally crab has died - and I do not know why. All the snails seem to be okay. The peppermints are okay. I only see one Emerald Crab left in the tank.
I did not feed the tank flake food until about 2 weeks after I put in the starter kit. Since starting the tank...adding live rock and all, there seems to be a whole lot of new growth. Two weeks ago I added the firefish goby, and yesterday i added the clown. That's all the fish I want to add.
I miss my Sally Lightfoot crab!
