Newbie Question...Feeding Clownfish Flakes?

I recently got 2 Ocellaris Clownfish and I have been feeding them Aqueon marine flakes in the morning and frozen, rinsed brine shrimp at night everyday. After further research I have found out that this is wrong!! I have a 20 gallon reef tank and I have read that feeding flake food is not the absolute best food to be feeding nor is solely the brine shrimp. What should I be feeding instead of the flakes and brine shrimp and how often should I be feeding each food type? Thank you for any help!!

Mysis shrimp would be best.
I'd do Mysis shrimp and a frozen cube mixture such as H20 Fish and Reef #1, Emerald Entree and Marine Cuisine.
If you only have two clownfish, I would feed half a cube or maybe even less once a day (some people will say every other day). You can thaw one whole cube, just feed half the amount and save the rest in a container in the fridge for the next feeding.

+1 and remember clowns are omnivores.

I do have Hakari frozen Mysis Shrimp to feed them so I will switch away from the brine and to the mysis. What is the best way to get the "veggie" side of feeding done? I want to stay away from flake food as I have read and come to understand that it's not the best route to be going. Thanks for the help everyone!!

Emerald Entree contains
Ingredients: Artemia Franciscana, mysis, krill, plankton, spinach, romaine lettuce, red leaf lettuce, spirulina algae, menhaden oil, sodium alginate, Vitamin premix: wheat flour, Vitamin A acetate, cholecalciferol (source of vitamin D3), vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin, niacin, calcium pantothenate, folic acid, menadione sodium bisulfate complex, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine mononitrate, biotin, inositol, L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate, betaine, d-alpha mixed tocopherols (source of vitamin E)
ALSO....you can use your brine, just add vitamins like selcon to it......
I had a bunch of frozen brine before I found out it wasn't nutritious...I DID NOT throw it out....I soaked it with vitamins

I use the store bought cubes, algae sheets and make my own food concoctions. My omnivore delight consists of organic veggies (broccoli & spinach), scallops, & raw shrimp. I chop everything to tiny pieces using a food chopper I bought for ten bucks.

Make sure you rinse/clean your shrimp well, check back of bag that no additives are added, some will add additives prior to quick freezing them.
