I am getting ready to set up a FOWLR 55 gal. I have a Marinland Emperor 400 filter. Will this filter be ok? Also do I need a special light for a fish only tank? I have a protien skimmer and RO/DI unit. Thanks.

Would the Emperor 400 be a good filter for a 55 gal FOWLR. I assume I need a filter. I have fresh water tanks but this is going to be my first saltwater set up so please excuse the dumb questions. I want to get this right the first time! Thanks
im no expert, but from what i have read if you have lr/ls and a good protien skimmer you should be ok. just be careful with the amount and type of fish. light is not a factor.
