Newbie to the coral thing

i purchased a nano pack of zoos and mushrooms about 3 or 4 weeks ago. the zoos and mushrooms never seem to fuly open and I don't know where to start. Actually, the mushrooms have released off their base and I have had to place them in other spots to keep them from blowing aroung the tank. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. here is what i have:
125 gallon tank w 150 lbs LR
0 amonia
0 nitrites
20 nitrates
1.022 salinity
80 temp
1000 Mg
720 watts of MH/T5 running the MH about 6 hrs and T5 about 8 hrs
Ph 8.0
480 Calcium
water flow approximately 2000 gallons per hour
*I was thinking about supplementing with some Iodine, Increase the Mg to 1400 and adding Strontsium as well. Help!!!!

Do you have them in a really strong flow?

well for one your specific gravity is dangerously low. your SG (specific gravity) should be 1.024-1.026 for corals and other inverts.

Don't raise your salinity in one shot either. Do it gradually.

i don't think they are in a really strong flow. the big power heads are at the top and 2 smaller power heads at the middle not aimed at any of the corals. I will try increasing the salinity and maybe adjusting the power heads a bit. Anyone have any othet suggestions????
