Newbie With 20 gallon tank

I have a question about the HOB filters. What are some of the most popular ones around here (for say a 10 or 20g tank)??? For instance, most people around here say use Maxi Jet powerheads. Is there a favorite amoung you guys that have the nanos???

I like the tetra tec because I can run a heater in it and keep that out fo the tank and it is fairly easy to clean. ALso - it can be set to kick out a small surge to vary up the water output ... not much but every little bit counts ....
one negative is it kicks out some bubbles on teh small surge...

i prefer the zoomed powerheads because they swival and move back and forth and also u can attach a little filter to them, it doesnt do much but it keeps fish out and will suck the littleer stuff in
