I just bought a 3 year old 29 gallon nano tank that unknown to me has some corals in the LR. When I was transporting the rock I found what i think was a Xenia tree on one of the rocks but only after I had it sitting in a bucket of water that couldnt have been warmer than 65 degrees for the 30 minute ride.
I just wanted to know do you think I probally killed the coral or will it come back to life? (I have no idea what a dead coral would look like)
Also I found what I think are small zoo (i think this because in the center of what appears to be a small "cucumber" in clusters of 3-4, are crazy neon colors). My question is if the lights have been off for about 2 weeks will they "pucker up" and kinda turtle back into their body? Is that normal or did I ID somthing else?

Corals are fickle to say the least. However, with xenia (which just so happens to be one of those hit or miss corals) you may very well still have a live coral. I had a friend who dropped a branch in a QT with no heat for almost three weeks and it actually GREW. So my guess is that 30 minutes in 65 degree water isn't a death sentence...
And yes, it sounds like you have some zoos. To find out, throw them under some lights and see what happens. With my T5 HO's it takes about 30 minutes for mine to open up... so if you have lighting less than that, i'd give it a few hours and see what happens!
Good luck!

Thanks,
I set the tank up at my girlfriends house so i wont have to move it for at least 3 months when I am working in FL for the summer. I will call her dad and see what he says about them opening up. If they don't open does that mean they are dead, and if they were dead wouldn't they just fall off?

No, when they die they disinigrate. If they're still present and just closed up, they are still alive (for now). I've seen them stay closed for over a week, so give them time.
