Are you upgrading to a 150 or 180? You will need that size to keep these fish. They get large and territorial.
No sharks. Triggers will kill them and a shark will definitely eat your blenny and what ever else it decides to sample. Unless you were upgrading to 300 gallons or more and reconsidered the fish you would keep, do not get a shark.

thanks for the advice. the only problem i have with getting a big tank is that it has to go on the second floor of a house. And i do not think it would be wise to put over 21oolbs on the second floor.

that would be a wise idea... you could probably get an eel (once upgraded, i think your at your capacity now)
i personally like them because they weave in and out of the rockwork

I your unable to upgrade to a large tank you should consider splitting them up.You've got alot of fish in that 55.That volitan alone is to big for that tank,or at least will be.That huma once a adult will be big and pretty mean. He'll probably end up killing that Niger. And a shark is out of the question unless you shed some fish and get a huge tank.
A 125 might work well for what you have. You could then add a eel, maybe a snowflake or a chain link. But another trigger will be big problems in the near future.

I agree the fish should be split up in two different aquariums. However, i disagree with the comment about the two triggers. I have had both a niger and a huma and the niger was by far the more aggressive. It just all depends on the temperament of your certain triggers. They vary alot. So just watch them. Also, how on earth are you keeping that butterfly alive in a tank with that many fish? Butterflies are hard to keep and need good water which you probably don't have in a tank that small unless you got some serious filtration.

my butterfly is my oldest fish in the tank.I have both a protien skimmer and a uv sterilizer. And all my fish are very healthy.
