lol, makes perfect sense :D
But, I might just forget about feeding the clam by moving it ever week or so. I know it would stress it quite a bit, plus moving it quite often right when it's attaching into the rockwork could result in some damage. I might just stick to adding DT's to the main tank.
I am actually going to use that method with some gorgonians I have in the tank, where it's really hard to target feed them. Thanks!!

Well I think I'll just stay utterly stupid and continue using the DT's as I always have....twice a week I mix 3 caps full of the DT's with an assortment of frozen foods(mysis/prime reef/brine/formulas 1&2/krill etc)...normally about 3-4 cubes. Then I let it thaw for about 15-20 minutes.....I add a bit of tank water and zoe/zoecon. Mix until its all thawed....then I use a turkey baster to target feed several hungry and fat LPS corals...the rest just goes in the water column. Normally I'll turn off the circulation long enouigh for thse that are slow to munch a bit before the currents blast everything around. Stupid but effective procedure....and guess what I never need to remove or re-locate a single coral. Some small/young clams may benefit from direct feedings by placement in a DT's saturaturated container...but most experiencied clam keepers I've heard about do this only with small(less than 3") clams only until they establish themselves and begin to attach. My squamosa is about three inches and seems to be feeding fine from the water column(regularly dosed with DT's) and the lighting.
