but had to get another...

What kind of tankmates will he share his home with? Do they do well in a community tank?

No tank mates, except peppermint shrimp & plenty of corals. The first one I had did really well with others (Yellow Tank, Blue Tang, Damsel, Copperband)... the only problem was the cowfish is a slow eater. I had to pay attention to make sure he got enough food. This time he is the king of the tank…
They are poisonous though. They can let out very toxic poisons when stressed.

Thanks royalshrimp. He's one of those "with caution" fish. I have not seen him bother a coral yet. He's a pod eating machine though. I'm pretty sure he would make a meal out of the peps also if he could catch them.

About 1 1/2" or so. They get pretty big though...
