I just bought a pair of lookdowns at my LFS. They are doing well, eating everything in sight. They are always curious as to what is going on, and like to watch TV as well. They really do add a nice element to my tank which is home to a bamboo, a cali ray, and a small miniautis grouper. For all of those who are wondering, I will be upgrading soon enough, so they will be happy in my tank for the next few months.
Please let me know if anyone on this board has kept these interesting fish. I would like to know how they have faired, and also if they could give me some good advice on them that I could not find in a book.
Thanks

Hi AC,
It is always nice to hear from you... To answer your question, I got the fish at Exotic Aquatics in Boulder. I know the owner quite well, and got the fish at cost! If you are interested, he still has one left.
I don't have any pics yet; I have not replaced the camera that my puppy chewed up. Hopefully for christmas, I will get one and I will be sure to post pics.
Thanks for the inquiries thus far.

I got two from a shrimp trawl. Neither of them fared well. I believe it was stress from the net. beautiful ugly fish though, they appear very fragile though so good luck with them. I saw them on sale at one site for like $200 and about croaked. We catch them on every shrimp trawl I have ever been on heheh.
