I am currently running 2 175 watt MH fixtures w/ 15000K bulbs..
I occasionally spot feed things here and there but i mostly just throw it all in and things catch it.. I feed phyto and microvert as well as a frozen food that I buy locally its a mix of everything.

hey nick whats up... havent talked to u in awhile and in that time it seems that the tank has improved drasticallyy!!!! i think im gonna have to come over and stare at ur tank for a couple hours... lol..... my internet was broken and so is msn messenger right now still..... but just some updates from me to let u know that im still alive....got a 75 gallon!!! woot woot! from aquarium adventure.... gonna start building the stand this weekend or next
that clame is huge!
where do u get all ur corals?
again... the tank is looking great!
as for suggestions.... id say u have an awesome variation of corals in there... IMO dont add too much more corals and let those corals u have know grow and thrive and take over the rock .... that would be so cool.... but hey its ur tank!

How often do you have to feed them. do you throw in the micro and phyto daily? weekly? I don't get how you know whether you are feeding them enough? With fish you can tell easily enough. or is there just some formula...5ml of this or that every few days?I haven't started a reef tank yet. just amassing info right now

With respect to the sun coral, I'd probably move it under some rock work, and get it out of direct sun light. They just don't do well under direct light. Also you'll need to do direct feeding of it.

I feed daily.. a mixed food mostly for the fish but corals catch a lot of it to.. and I dose w/ phyto a couple times a week.. it says on the container of phyto what to do.. everything healthy and happy so I must be doing it right! lol
the sun coral is gone, I sold it.
Thanks guys

Man very impressive. How do you go when you have to clean the bottom and stuff to keep the nitrates down???

I have not had a problem w/ nitrates.. In one of my 29 gallons before this tank, the nitrates were through the roof.. the other was at 0.. When I combined them the nitrates were a little high, but then after a few water changes down to about 5 so I dont worry about it right now!

beutisimo!!!!!! Just something you might try though...when your taking those pics without a flash use a tripod and some of those pics wont look like the coral is moving 100mph lol.
