Newly Split Anemone

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to care for an anemone that is newly split? I know both pieces haven't healed, and the new anemones are very active and moving around to a comfortable spot, but is there anything else I can do? Thanks

Dont know about care for the splits but i did read a goodly number of times that when an anemone splits it is under stress. I would check your water to be sure everything is up to standards. What kind of lights do u have????

Nope just make sure you have what they need to live. Established tank, good water quality, sufficient lighting and enough space for them to grow.
As already stated if your anemone is new to you and or its been in your tank less than a year, its not always a good sign that it has split. And in most cases something is stressing it out. Good luck.

I have perfect water parameters across the board, the lighting is a viperII, and everything appears to be normal. The anemone is healing fine. It has however only been in the tank for a little over 2 months now. When I purchased it, it was large, and as it acclimated and grew used to my tank, it blew up in size. Hopefully this isn't a stress induced event. Thanks!

it is true that alot of splits are induced by stress, but some nems like the bubble tip will split when the conditions are good.
As long as there has not been a drastic change in any of your params, like salinity, temp, alk, etc... I think it is fine and just leave them be they will heal up just fine. if you have any clown fish hosting them they now have a vacation home!
