I have a 46 gallon bow front tank.... I have about 35-40lbs of live rock. The current livestock is a pink bar goby and a Gold strip Maroon Clown. I also have a few snails and an emerald crab. I would like a new fish and would like some suggestions .... these are the criteria I would like the fish to have
1) Inexpensive
2) does not hide... my 2 fish i have are never out so i want someone who likes to be front and center.
3) reef safe
4) Will not out grow a 46 gallon.
5) beautiful bright colors
thanks for your sugestions

I don't know why but i have never liked chromis
Fire fish are a possability, but with a bow front i really don't want to try to cover it with that ceiling crate stuff... I tried a glass lid but my cat jumped on it and broke it
I was thinking maybe a larger fish like some sort of dwarf angle
any other suggestions? ***)
You could have a coral beauty, pygmy, or flame angel in a 46g. Reef-safe is hit or miss with small angels; from what I've seen, a coral beauty would be your best bet -- and they're beautiful fish.
ok here is what I am thinking... I have the GSM clown, and the bar goby
I was thinking of adding (not all at the same time)
Current
1- GSM Clown
1- Pink Bar Goby
Want to add
1- Green Clown Goby
1- Royla Gramma
1- Coral Beauty
What do you think?
Is it a reef? Coral Beauty and if you want 1 larger fish,Copperbands are kept in 50 gallon's all the time.4 gallons off,Maybe you can keep one. Both are average saltwater aquarium sized fish.A Copperband is one of the few butterflie's to put in a 50,alot are either unhardy,to big,coral-eaters.
NOT A Six-Line they LOVE hidding in rocks 24/7 when I finished accumilating mine and it got him in the water,he zipped into the rocks and usually only comes out for dinner.
My six-line is pretty lazy,It has a nice personality it goes to the tip top of the tank when i'm home. And does peep constantly in and out of the rocks,it is so annoying.
Coral Beauty,Uses my Pom Pom Xenia as it's *home*and doesn't bother the rest of the coral.
