Yep, well said. There's always next year.
sorry for implying the Bears are your team...
and yes youre right about the smack talk... but what fun would there be without it???

kinda sad how after the game Aikman and Buck were sayin what a great game Grossman had... must have been a feat for him to hand the ball off...
I actually thought the missed field goal was a bigger play. Also, Grosmman did call back to back timeouts which is a personal foul. He is a POOR manager of the game. Bears will need TO's again if they expect to beat the COlts.
Saints are young and will be back. I thought Grossman did not lose the game which is a good outing for him.
Still...it was a Bears beat down.
I'll be pulling for the Colts...Manning deserves a ring.

He missed wide open receivers on several plays. THe problem with Gorsmman is that he is very inconsistent. If the Bears do not get turnovers, and have trouble running the balll the chances for victory are decresed as he simply is not that type QB.
Bears will probably bring in either a free agent QB or a proven vertran in the off-season or possiblly dradt a rookie. I doubt they will stick with him...even if they do back in to a SB win. Much like Johnson at Tampa Bay and Dilfer wtih Baltimore....Bears MAY win the SB...but Bears will...or they should go in a different QB direction.
Trying to call back to back TO's is pretty bad as he was obviously unaware of the situation. Also, that SHOULD have been flagged.

The Colts have been a decent team and Manning has always been a good quarterback...but...there's no stopping the Bears now. They've been good the whole season, making plays when they counted and the defense has been outstanding, this year.
I'm predicting a Bears shut out, on the Colts, just like they did on the Saints today.

Saints had 14 points...shut out means the other team does not score.
I agree ONLY if the Bears win the TO battle..them winning the game. If not...it will be VERY difficult to beat the COlts. especially if the need Grossman to throw to win.

Ok...it wasnt a shut out...maybe I should have reworded...they just got stomped.

Correct...turnovers was the difference. Saints moved the ball but choked up the ball in key situations. Chicago played on a short field and it was a perfect style game for them to play.
Should they get multiple to's against the Colts...you could certainly see a similar score. BUt, if the Bears do not win the to battle by a plus 2 or 3....it will be very difficult for them to win.
It was a stomp on the scoreboard .

dude... the Saints didnt get shut out... did yu see the 88 yds Bush got taunting the whole way??? besides the Cardinals handled the Bears for 3.75 qtrs (too bad they play 4)... the Colts will not get shut out... Rex might just have to throw more than 26 times and that should be scary to a bears fan...

thats the only place it was a "stomp"... to bad thats all that matters... Brees almost tripled Grossmans yds... but then agin like you said the Bears had short feilds the whole game... and they did turn it over which kills a team... i am not sure if that FG was the turning point Scuba... it was freakin Billy Cundiff... a KO specialist... i would have rather seen them take their chaces with a play or a punt...
