NFL Playoffs

I know we are still 5 weeks out, but every week there are just certain teams that I root for. Here are the 12 teams that I would like to see make the playoffs.
AFC
-New England Patriots
-Indianapolis Colts
-Baltimore Ravens
-San Diego Chargers
-Kansas City Chiefs
-Cincinnati Bengals
NFC
-Dallas Cowboys
-Chicago Bears
-New Orleans Saints
-Seatle Seahawks
-New York Giants
-Green Bay Packers (send Favre out on a high note)
I don't like Michael Vick at all (never have), I really do not want to see the Rams make it (their playcalling has been atrocious), I do not want to see the Broncos make it (for what they are doing to Plummer), and I am not crazy about the Panthers or Jaguars either.
I like the Titans and 49ers, but I don't think either team is ready for the playoffs yet. They both need a few years to be considered playoff teams. I do really hope the Titans get rid of Albert Haynesworth though. That guy is just a menace to football (the kick to Andre Gurode and the intentional tripping to Tiki Barber yesterday).
So what teams are you guys pulling for or think deserve to make the playoffs?

Baltimore or San Diego and Dallas in Super Bowl....
Why do I have the feeling Jacksonville is going to close out 8-8?

Yeah, that's true, but all a team really needs to do is key on Tomlinson or find a way to stop him, and I think Rivers will fall apart. I think Urlacher can stop Tomlinson. Dallas also might be able to stop him. I think if the Cowboys keyed Roy Williams on Tomlinson, the Cowboys might be able to stop him too.
I have to say though, Tomlinson is clearly the MVP of the league.

We can finally start working towards 1 for the other thumb

I cant believe its almost December and I'm actually still excited about the Cowboys chances! Hasn't been like that since at least 96'.

I think that Rivers had looked pretty good and once they get Merriman back their defence should tighten up.

Dnag Ben!!! that is a pick that i would not expect from you!!! with the playoffs coming most likely we will see some "Marty Ball" and they will choke themselves out...
Tomlinson does deserve the MVP but it will either go to Peyton Manning, or be split with him...

NFC Wildcard
Saints @ Panthers

49ers
@ Seahawks
AFC Bye
Colts
Ravens
AFC Division
Patriots
Ravens
Colts
Chargers
AFC Wildcard
Bengals @ Patriots

Chiefs @ Chargers

I like the way the Ravens are playing right now. SHould they continue at the same level, I see them coming out of the afc. THe nfc? make a list and throw a dart....does not matter as the afc appears to be the power conference so the survivor out of the afc takes the cake.
Bears? Unless Lovie Smith wakes up....Grossman will cost them. I was not impressed with how Lovie approached the Panthers game last season...no adjustments in the playoffs will bite you in the butt. He may be a Marty Shottenheimer and Dungy clone...great regular season coaches....and playoff chokers.
If the Saints do not lose the TO battle in a game they are a tough team to beat with that high powered passing offense.
They are beginning to look like the Rams when they made their SB run...but they are much weaker on defense.
Grossman had a nice four or five game run....then it looks like the real Grossman may have showed up as of the past few games.
I agree with Lion...I have always thought Vick was a mediocre passer nad I have never really warmed up to his game. .
As for his little one finger salutes, I recall when Jim Jr (Jimmy as his papa calls him) gave the same one finger salute to some fans while walking off the field after a Saints loss back when he was the d-backs coach under his dad. How did Jimmy Jr EVER land a head coaching job?
Vicks problem might be coaching. he may need a solid QB coach. His greatest asset also contributes to his weakness...he is an inaccurate passer because he watches the rush looking for oppurtunities to run, as opposed to going through his progressions. If the first guy is covered...he either throws and forces...or takes off and runs. he does not see the fiels past his first progression...then he focuses on the line scrimmage looking for an escape route.
Did Jimmy Jr ACTUALLY beleive he could run a college offense in the nfl and consistently win?
Right now...Ravens take it...unless another team catches fire simliar to the Pitt run last year.
