NFL Pro Bowl Selections....thoughts?

Who is your biggest Snub? Who doesn't deserve to go?
For me it's easily Ryan Clady
, Rookie LT of the Denver Broncos. He's been amazing all year ONLY allowing .5 sack! He's had to go up against DE Beasts like John Abraham and Julius Peppers among others and held his own! What a joke that this guy's not in!
Favre....he's played pretty mediocre his last 3-4 games. He got in more for his name than his play.

Thought Chad Pennington deserved in over Cutler or Favre. Brian Westbrook over Clinton Portis, Marshon Lynch over Ronnie Brown too.
Love the starters at the skill positions in the NFC....3 Cardinals
and Adrian Peterson.

Barrett Rudd, Ronde Barber or Akib Talib... for me would be a couple snubs... glad to see that Mr. Derrick Brooks made it to his 12th consecutive... although he wasnt chosen last year he went due to injury...

who would have ever thought that the Bucs would send a KR to the probowl... lol...

I'm pretty happy with the cowboys selections. Especially Ratliff
the entire pro bowl selection is a joke. It is as bad as the BCS rankings. The good news is the Pro Bowl means nothing and nobody watches it.

I watch it. It's been pretty competitive the last few years actually. The BS rankings is the main reason why I don't like college football.

only 3 from steelers? how bout hines ward? He's the perfect example of a wr. Haven't seen him drop a ball yet and seen many other great catches in coverage. Harrison farrior and polamalu got in, what about ike or clark?

Yes I couldn't believe Westbrook didn't make it- and why did Ronnie Brown make it? he only had one good game and it was early in the season agains't my beloved Patriots- I just very glad Wes Welker made it as he should have last year as well

yeah, I don't watch it either, they aren't playing for anything. Not very interesting for me.
But there will always be snubs and a few people that don't deserve to be there. But I fail to see how ratliff doesn't deserve to be there. Especially considering how important he is in one of the NFL's most dominate defenses these past 5 or 6 games.

couldnt disagree more about Hines this year... there are atleast 12 WR in the AFC that are having better seasons... i havent checked but i would b surprised if he was top 25 in the league...

Ronnie Brown is one of the main components to Miami's turn around... they guy is flat out ballin this year... as far as top notch rushers in the AFC he is top 5 for sure... the AFC doesnt have alot of good backs this year...

I'm not saying Ronnie didn't have a good year, but Lynch has better numbers and let me ask you this....If Tampa could add either Marshawn Lynch or Ronnie Brown next year, whom would you rather have? I'm pretty sure Lynch would be your answer.

Brown has more TDs and splits time with Ricky williams. I would take him over marshawn easily. He has a nose for the endzone, is more versatile, and is not that far behind lynch in yards considering he gets 5 carries less per game than lynch.5 carries times a 4 yards is 20, times 14 games is 280 yards. Give him the ball the extra times and he has more yards than lynch.Plus his average is over 4 yards a carry so I am being conservative.
Then factor in he missed some games I believe.

This isn't Fantasy Football, Touchdowns is not the most important stat (see LenDale White)...Miami has an above average offensive line, Buffalos is well below average (Buffalo QBs have been abused all year). You view carries per game as why Lynch has more yards, but there is something to be said for being able to handle the higher workload, because most backs can't without getting injured (see Reggie Bush)....If you would take Ronnie Brown over Lynch next year if they were both free agents, you wouldn't make as a GM, other than for the Raiders or Bengals.

Oh, as far as versatile....Lynch has almost double the receptions of Brown.

Don't forget that Lynch splits with Fred Jackson too. Lynch has 239 rushing atts, Jackson has 93 atts (Bills total 332). Ronnie has 195 atts, Ricky has 138 atts. Miami has 333 atts. 1 friggin run!! And what's even more funny is all four back all have the same 4.2yd/run average. It's nuts how different the teams are, yet how similar the stats are...

The main difference is the touchdowns....this puts ronnie brown over the top. factor in ronnie throws the ball also.,...and his verstility expands over Lynch's
