Beautiful animal Chandler04 and capable of developing just as much personality as a porcupine or triggerfish.
My larger ones actuall like to be gently petted and will actually roll over so you can get their belly too.
For me, it's affection, while for them I suspect it's just an extension of cleaner behaviour and a way to be assured of an extra tidbit.
One spits water like a puffer to get my attention, while a dwarf female will actually launch herself out of the water to snatch food from my fingers.....for obvious reasons, I'm trying to dissuade her from this particualr habit.

**grin** I just didn't want to be the first one that said that.
Actually, Nick'll probably be just fine for a year or so, maybe more, but he WILL end up being the only fish in the tank.

yeah actually, he'll do Okay in this size tank for about 8-10 months, then he'll have some issues turning around.
P Volitans wil reach about 10-12" in one year then another, then max out around 15' in another 6 months. so you might want to consider where your gonna put him.
As for more live rock, dunno, aren't you squeezing out swimming space? do you have a sump on this tank? if so maybe place the live rock there instead
Hi Mike- glad to see your still posting, thought it might have been me
