Okay to mix em? Both would be babies. Under 3 inches. I have my Humu now. There is a gorgeous Niger up at my LFS.

Sure! Depends on what size tank you plan on keeping them together. If there gonna be in anything under 100g, expect troubles!

Even as babies? Being the same size? In 90 gallons? They would get switched over to a 150 or 180 in a few months.

As babies sure! But most don't upgrade to the bigger size tanks to house those types of fish. The Niger alone will out grow that 90 in no time! If you plan on upgrading to a larger tank..You should be ok!

CK .... I have that combo in my tank and there are no problems and mine are not "babies" . They also room with 2 damsels . Honestly I doubt you will have any problems with this combo at all .

I had Huma/Niger combo in a slightly larger tank, but they got along fine....I had them 4+ years together.....That's not a guarantee, but I like the chances of it working.

Weak pictures but when i walk over it hides by the rock. I take 5 steps back it swims around. The trickery I tell you. Its a QT right right now.

AWESOME choice
Yeah. It is actually a lot smaller than I thought. My Humu is about a inch bigger. Doing great though. Has been eating like a pig. It ate about 3 hours after I had him acclimated and put in the qt tank. Mysis and pieces of squid. Tears it up. I love the way he swims. Those fins move almost ray like.

Hi there,
The nigers are awsome, mine changes color from a light blue to an almost black purple (I love the chocolate color he gets). Not sure why they change colors like that, but I like it. I also want a picasso aswell, but my tank is small at the moment (55 g, Niger w/ 2-damsels).
