I do. My have a little electronic device that brightens and dims them according the moon cycle outside.

that's pretty cool....i leave mine on about 4-5 hrs after lights out and then it's complete darkness until the natural light or actnics come on

It's great because I can leave it on full moon for friends and company (bright). Otherwise just leave it on the cycle.

That thing looks cool. Was it expensive? I've never seen one before.
I have two 1w moon lights. They are both on after and before the actinics; and the 1 bulb remains on for most of the night in the middle. It's enough to see something, but dim enough for them to relax.

I got it on the big auction site. It works great. Like yours it's dim enough even during full moon to let them relax (but gives great glow to the corals). It works pretty cool because you wait for the full moon then click it back and forth to "A" three times and it sychs with the 28.5 day moon cycle. The lights are barley on during new moon.
As you can see, it's not in the cycle right now because the switch isn't on "A".

i turn my moon lights on at 8 pm, when my actinics lights turn off, until 11 pm. then its darkness so the fish that like total darkness arent bothered. plus im not up that late so noone there is to see.
