Night polyps ??

Hi again.. just curious if anyone has heard of "night polyps"..Thats what the lfs said they were..They are about 6" tall and look like elephants trunks to me! the rock I recently bought has 2 of them with a 3rd starting to grow! He told me they only open at night but I haven't seen them yet..They do however move all the time , Expanding, growing taller, turning themselves to either face the current or away from the current, even laying down..just thought I would ask, as usual the amateur in me says buy now research later ..thanks everyone

is this waht you are talking about? they are snake polyps, they do open at night. i have a rock with about 6 of them on it.

Wow that is them..any special care or anything special to know about them? they seem to be really neat but I haven't caught them open like the picture!!! But thanks alot

from what i know is they don't like high light, i keep mine in a shaded area under a ledge in the rockwork. other than that there is no special care needed
