hey sometimes it cant be that bad listen i have a green brain,colt,yellow polyps,and some zoos oh and an anenome (watch all the bad press i get for saying this)(i dont co-sign this i dont want to be misleading as if this is ok )i dont have RO yet but i am getting there.i guess wayer changes helps the fact.i dont know.

I have had trates much higher than that before with no probs for my mushrooms. The only thing that really seemed to be affected was my bubble coral.

i cant get mine down for the life of me i've tried everything except take out my lr and scrub 'emso other than getting an ro/di i dont know whta else to do oh and i have de-nitrate in my canister(no foam pads) and still nothing.

Don't know if it's luck, but i have a 135 gallon and have fluidized bed filters. I have no other filtration whatsoever unless you count the live rock and deep sand bed, oh and the protien skimmer. Anyway, I've never had more than 5 on a nitrate reading. Been able to maintain a coco worm and a mandarin for two years, which are hard to keep...
