my tank has been running for about 5 months. i have CC as subtrate.
My nitrate is approaching between 15-20. I am going to do a 10% water change tomorrow.
At what point should I be concerned with nitrates.
FOWLR, puffer and a triger

Those are acceptable levels for a FOWLR tank. Only reef tanks require nitrate to be kept under 10ppm. That is one of the reasons that reef tanks are more difficult. You should be happy with anything under 20 and only get really worried if it goes above 40.

:yes: Yep.Agree with shawn. If you use CC, that's no help for high nitrate readings too!
