Nitrites and trates ?????

i havent had this problem in the 10 months this tank has been up and goin i did my weekly test and my ammonia was .25 trites .2 trates 2.5 i did a 10% water change last night and the tests were teh same i did another 10 percent today and the ammonia is 0 and the triates andtrates are the same should i do anouther 10 percent tomorrrow ?

I would test nitrites and nitrates again tommorow. What kind of filtration and substrate do you have? How much LR? Any recent changes?

55 gallon reef w/ 90 lbs LR 80 Lbs LS skimmer w/ wet dry no bioballs lr in place nuttin new that i know of

Sounds like a good setup, what is your bioload? Feeding schedule?
Also, when you say LR in place of bioballs, is the LR under water or above?

its under water i have the same fish for a while now kole tang flame angel pair of clowns false percs diamond goby bi color dottyback everything has been good up till last night i feed my fish 3x a week mon and fri flake food and wend before the 10 percent water change i do i feed them brine and squid cyclope ezze then 2x a week i feed my corals at night dt,s on tues w/ zoe zoecon selcon marine c zooplankton cyclope ezze and saturday i do the same but instead of dt's i use marine snow and i dont over feed i underfeed everytime i feed

I'd stop feeding all that junk and just feed the fish some flake food once a day..I got a head ach just reading all those things you feed........:notsure:

You may have gotten some chemicals in the tank..has anyone sprayed for bugs or sprayed air freshener in the same room? Things like that can cause nitrate n nitrite to spike
