nitrites off the charts

well if you have a reef tank, i would assume and hope your tank is all cycled. But it is possible that there is something dead, fish coral, invert, in your tank that is dead and the cycle of it is jsut starting.
what were your other readings?

salinity * 1.023
ammonia * .25
nitrate * 25mg
i did a 30% water change with ready mixed salt water and my nitrites are now between 3.0 - 4.0
what else can i do. yes my tank was fully cycled before adding anything other then the uncured lr which was added at the beggining of the cycle

I would also think there was something dead in your tank. Turn over all your rocks, dig through your substrate if you have to, but I think there's definitely something dead and rotting in there, especially being that you have ammonia.
If all else fails, AmQuel+ is the best thing ever for getting rid of a ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates. I've used it with inverts and corals and it's never harmed anything. It's fantastic, IMO.

Try testing your water before you put it in the tank. We discovered (the hard way) that our tap water was the cause of almost all our problems. Our ammonia and nitrates both spiked through the roof and we kept doing water changes and losing fish. We were told to test the water before we put it in the tank. Duh...the AmQuel+ took care of the problem and we never put water in the tank without it.
