NM Reef or Anyone Else Help Please

NM, thanks for the all the help in the past but here is another question. I am looking at a hang on type of "AquaFuge" with protein skimmer for my 55; holds about 5 gal. On the "auction" site it runs about $200 w/shipping. I'm leaning towards this because of not wanting to brake down my 55 to move the stand out from the wall to place a nice 30-40 gal. under the stand etc.
Am I wasting my funds?, or is this better than NOTHING?
I have a 55
2- HOB 400 type bio filters
2- PH 170gph each
currently running 260w of PC's

I am not NM but can tell you that it is definitely better than nothing. On a 55, a 5 gallon fuge is not bad at all. I have a 15 gallon fuge on my 210 and it keeps the nitrates at a minimum. I am always weeding out the chaeto and caulerpa because it grows so well.

Thanks for the response. I have LR with alot of Caulerpa on it so I know it helps me. Just trying not to waste my money of it won't work.
