No ammonia spike after DSB conversion

Hello all, on May 2nd i completed converting my 110gal tank with CC to DSB. I used quartz sand and on top of it 140lb of Bio-active live aragonate. (it says on the package"Instant Cycling). I used my LR from the prev setup. My prev setup had nitrite problem(about 0.1ppm)before conversion, due to my leather coral death. Right after conversion i checked nitrite and it was 0.1 ppm. Then i put 2 raw coctail shrimps to start a new cycle. Since then i didn't see any ammonia spike. I checked it with Red Sea Test kit and also i have ammonia sticker. I just checked for nitrites and they are about 0. What's happening? Maybe i should add another pair of shrimps? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

i did the sane with 200 lbs of live sand. it been running for 12 days with no amm. spike at all no nitrite or nitrate. dont understand this? i put in several shrimps.

I'd say you dont have a problem, and I would take the shrimp out. Looks like between the LS you added and your existing LR, you have enough bacteria to handle your load. It will only be a matter of time before your DSB is working. You'll be able to tell by the bubbles that start forming in the sand next to the glass. I switched to DSB from CC and didnt go through a detectable cycle.

How do i know that the cycle has completed? I don't wanna add animals to a tank and the day after find them dead.
