Hey guys, my LFS doesn't carry DT's any more. I've been using Marine Snow now that I can't get DT's. Is that a good enough replacement for live phyto? If not, should I order it online (assuming I can)? Also, is Marine Snow the best brand, or what artifical phyto is best?
DT's a waste of money??? I have never heard that before??? I guess the only reason I use phytoplankton is because someone told me to do so...I wonder if its really necassary??? That stuff is expensive 30 or 40 bucks for a large bottle...
I, as usuall, agree with mac.. A waste of money. Most of the tanks that I would consider AWSOME had no additives. Just a reactor, skimmer, lights, water and the occasional bit of food For the fish.
