No more GIFs?

I thought for sure I seen useres with GIFs' as avatars, but then when I go to upload one it says no animated images allowed? what gives?

Well that is odd... but as you can see I have one. Although Im not about to mess with my control panel, as it may not let me put it back. LOL.

If you had one as your avatar than its still there . But if you trying to load one it won't let you . Its been like that a few months .
Sucks too I have a killer supertroopers one .

You can put a url in the box instead of uploading it.That should work for u.

If it is on a web site Right click the pic go to properties.Copy the url and paste it in the url box in your avatar page.

yeah URLs dont work either. ive tried several times to put my old Manson av back up but it wont let me.
