No More Room In Sump!!!

I dont have any more room in my sump and im getting a protein skimmer on Wednesday!! Is it ok to put my heater in the overflow box? The only problem is that I have two overflow boxes does it matter if the heater is in only one of them?

Why not put the heater in the tank?

It shouldn't matter that you are only putting it in one, but beware that heaters jammed to where they are touching arcylic can melt it, so make sure your heater has water circulating on all sides.

Its an all-glass tank and wouldent there be water cirrculation thoughout the overflow box since water is always coming in and going out to the sump, my only concern is that the temp will not stay the same and it will fluctualte
