I Tested My Water(0-ammonia-o-nitrite-0-nitrate. Ph Is 8.2) I Am Also Doing Water Changes To Bring My Phosphates Down. So Far So Good.

Hey, when I had my 55 gallon I had 2 402 powerheads(one on each side of the glass) since you dont have any that might be why your algae problem is bad, another could be what water your using. go with RODI water. also, how long are you leaving your lights on and what kind of lights do you have, I had the same problem with my snails but I soon found out that tap water killed them, so then i started used RODI water, hope this helps

What are your calcium levels? They need this to survive, they grow, and need it to make their shells.

I Have A Coralife Pure Flo2 Ro Water Purifying System. Does This Mean That I Need An Additional Unit? A De-ionizer, Right. What Would I Be Looking For- What Brand And Is Absolutely Neccesary?
