I've ran my skimmer for a year straight and my PE is insane.
kraylen Member Dec 13, 2009 #23 PE stands for Polyp Extension. It is a sign to SPS keeps or a happy coral for the most part. SPS coral polyps extend rather than open like zoanthids and what not.. .so they term PE would not apply to zoas and mushroom since they do not extend.
