Noise and Fish

Stupid question but here it goes..............
I got my tanks in my "Music Room" and i was wondering if noise (I play heavy metal) would bother them a lot and stress them out too much......................

I would actually think the opposite. If the music is on all the time the fish will get used to it, the same way that they get used to loud filters and powerheads. They are more likely to get scared with occasional loud music. I would be concerned about constant loud music during the initial acclimation period as this is a very stressful time and loud music could increase it. Perhaps start with elevator music and gradually increase the volume??
However, I know I couldn't stand much heavy metal!!!

I crank up my music on occasion (when I get drunk) and the fish don't seem disturbed at all. They're out and about...business as usual. One positive reaction is that my giant Caribbean carpet anemone always dances (stands up tall and sways to and fro) when I play Aldo Nova.
