Noisy airline on protein skimmer

How can I quiet the air intake on a protein skimmer? It is otherwise fairly quiet. If I hold my finger over the end of the airline, the noise is gone.

Use a silencer on the end of the airline.

What kinda of skimmer? I had that issue for a while, until I realized that my colection cup had two n i p p l e s on the top of it for just this reason. I have a prizm skimmer, but it would be easy to add something like this into any collection cup, and when hooked up, it's silent!

Octopus nw200. I just had someone on a local forum tell me he has one off an nw150 that he can give me.
