Hi.
I just finished setting up the 240. I am new to larger tanks and overflows. when I first set it up, it was VERY loud. So I set up a regular standpipe, i.e., just a length of PVC to raise the water level up closer to the tank inflow level.
That reduced the noise by a lot, but it is still pretty loud. Especially considering that it is right outside our bedroom door.
I looked at the Durso standpipe, but my overflow measures only 5" wide by 4.5" front to back.
Anyone have a suggestion on how I can get this thing to be quieter? I think I may have to shut it off for tonight.
