Non active tank for 2 months

This is going to sound weird, but I had planned on setting up a species tank, but got sidetracked with work and it's been sitting empty for about 2 months. The tank is full of salt water and a 2" LS bed, there is no scum on top, water is clear, readings are all at 0. Can I go ahead and use the water thats in it and just start another cycle?

Was filtration running the whole time? If so there is no need to start a cycle as your tank is already cycled with the LS. As with any new tank, though, don't add all of the new tank critters at once because the tank needs to adjust to the new bioload.

If there is absolutely nothing in the tank but sand and saltwater.
Then the water is fine.
SG might raise, so just add fresh DI water and start circulating the water with powerhead and filter. That will do.

if there was no filtration then the cycle needs to take place
just add some live rock for a while and that should get you started
