I am new to the salt water hobby. I am considering purchacing a running 125 gallon tank but don't really know much about them. It is currently 2 hours away from my house. I have read a few messages about moving tanks but I would appreciate it if I could call one of you and talk about setup ect. Thanks in advance. Ty

Personally I think it's a bad idea to purchase a fully stocked system if you don't have prior experience. The best way to start the hobby is to ease yourself into it. Read a ton! The Concientious Marine Aquarist is a good place to start. Also, it's fun to choose your one critters along the way. But that's just one opinion. I would definitely read a book or three before starting (as well as using this site as a source of info) because there are some really important aspects of caring for a reef system that wouldn't be obvious if you didn't already know you needed to do them.

I'll do it
nah, just save your money. It's not that hard just put everything in buckets and just leave the substrate in the tank with enuf water to keep sand wet. But you're gonna need Manpower.. If you have Questions you can do a search here for "moving Tank".

xtyx.. what state are you in? I can answer some ?s for you, but as others have said, if this is your first experience with saltwater, it may not be a great idea. My first tank after getting back to it after 15 yrs is now a 125 g, but I had a crew set it up. You can email me at ess-rt@earthlink.net and I will answer questions you may have. The first place I would start, if you REALLY want the already established tank, is the yellow pages and look under aquariums also look under saltwater fish, etc. You should be able to find someone in your area that offers tank maintance service for around 80-100$ a pop. Ususally once a month and the rest is up to you. This is a very smart move for you. Come to this site, ask lots of questions, read lots of posts etc. It isnt as hard as you would think, but you do need some experienced friends.
