will he calm down or is it a bad sign?
he also kinda keeps goin to the top and poking his hjead out is he goin to calm down or should i be worring
i also put fish stess coat stuff in the tank to help out

buy some eggcrate and cut it out and place it on the top of your tank.
I had a firefish though, and he somehow jumped thru it. I tend to thnk it was more luck that he did that though

i have plastic rap over the tank and that is working greatbecauseit is clear but im just wondering is that a sign that he is not happy or he is just having fun?

I'm on my second pair and none of the four jumped. Is there another fish acting aggressive toward it? I just added my second pair about two weeks ago, and when they got in the tank they found the first lr to hide under and then came out. It was the same with my first pair. They are jumpers though, maybe I just got lucky. Good luck.

I just added my second pair about two weeks ago, and when they got in the tank they found the first lr to hide under and then came out. It was the same with my first pair. They are jumpers though, maybe I just got lucky. Good luck.

You have Saran Wrap over the top of your tank? What about gas exchange? feedings?

well it is only coving a little bit of the tank
just enough so there is no openings
i dont have any glass covers at the moment but i will get some in the future
he is the only fish in the tank but i think he is doing ok now he is just staying in the upper part of the tank but he seems to have cooled down
i hope he stays that way

they are jumpers...Most fish stores put them in the top tanks so if they jump they jump into the tank below or they put them in the tiny plastic tanks inside their sales tanks...
