Normal or Not

I recently just purchased a maroon clown from the LFS. I don't know if it's normal or not but when I turn off the lights, he floats to the top. I don't know if he's sleeping or not. And when I turn it back on it'll take about an hour for him to return to normal.

Mine goes to the corner over the powerhead at night and just floats there. Yours is displaying normal behavior. Pretty fish

I remember many years ago I had one that use to do the same thing, at first I thought it was dead. Good Luck

He's sleeping. My sister's maroon clown does the exact same thing. Don't worry about it.

tomato clown in my reef goes to its bubble tip anenome after lights out....in my fowlr/ls my 2 perculas sort of hover near the top in one cornor ...they stay around there till lights on then they rejoin the critter society......

Normal, normal. My female now sleeps on her side at the bottom of the tank....you'd think she was dead, until you rouse her, then she up and and about business as usual.

Don't worry. My Clarkii did the same thing until I got it an anemone.
