heres my set up i knows it kinda ugly not a profesionl set up just started up for now. any good ideas would help.

dont feel bad, mine is kinda liek that, but lr covered in hair algae.
Your tank isnt bad for a starter!

Just a suggestion, may want to add a couple powerheads for circulation. It will keep your coraline nice on your LR. Looks like a good start....good luck with it!

Nice start. If you get maxijets then go with the 900's. They use 1/3 the power of 1200's and run cooler. Plus they only produce 35 or 60 gallons per hour less.

ya you could go with 2 larger ones at the ends- 2about 20-25$ it a 55 right? and also you can put that heater behind the rock and run the coard down the seam and along the bottom to make it look better- but not a bad tank at all!
